Time to Wake Up!

Wake up time is by far my favorite. When she is well rested and so happy I just die to go in there and get a bunch of sweet smiles. It usually goes something like this...

"Who is that?"

"Oh YAY it's my mommy!"

"Yeehaw I'm free of my swaddle...time to kick and stretch!"

"Good morning everybody!!"

Give me that bottle!!!

Winter just started tracking things really well. Mike and I got a kick out of this one!

Daddy Day

Mommy had to go to work on Saturday so Winter got a whole day with her daddy. I think they both really loved it!! Daddy busted out the camera and did a little paparazzi action while she was in her jungle gym. Love you daddy!!

Every time we put a blanket down or the gym Gretzky has to come be a part of it!

Unfortunately a few of the toys show the wear and tear of Gretzky. It's hard to keep all these shiny new hard plastic toys away from him. He's like a kid in a candy store!

I had to put this one up because of the cute face she is making. It is one of my favorites that she makes...I just love the cheeks and tiny little chin!!

Over Thirty

Yes ladies I married a younger man. What can I say. He is officially now "over thirty!" Remember when someone who was thirty seemed so old. Yes that is now Michael P...or Old Man Keough. The big 3-1 has arrived.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVE

For Mike's birthday Winter stayed home with her Lovey and we took Gretzky on a hike in Boulder. We had such a great time!

Check out Gretzky's tongue...I think he got a good work out in!

We had such a blast...both of us were feeling it for a few days after. Now we need one of those hiking back packs to bring Winter.

BUMBO

We are attempting to start using the Bumbo. Winter has been pretty hunched over in this sucker so far because she is still building up those neck muscles. Two days ago we gave it another shot. At first she didn't know what to think...

Then she got the hang of it. Check her out holding up that giant cranium all by herself!!

Fourth of July

We had a great 4th of July this year. We all went down to my parents in Colorado Springs and my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins were all in town. Below we are celebrating my cousin, Mary Ellen's, 10th birthday. Check out my cousin Graham on the far left. Remember him from my wedding?? Now he is 17...ahhhhh!!!

For Mary Ellen's birthday we got her a Hannah Montana dress up costume. It came with a fancy head set microphone. We made her put on a little concert for us. She was so cute!!

Here she is again...without the wig. I guess you could call this her Miley Cyrus look. Seriously she was cracking us up the whole weekend!!

Thought this was the cutest picture of Winter at our 4th of July party. Mike is starting to get a little artsy with the camera :)

Is this the most adorable picture you have ever seen? What a handsome daddy this little girl has. I couldn't get over both of these sweet faces. I think I might be the luckiest girl in the world having these two in my life!!!

Three Whole Months!

Look how big I am :) This isn't our best picture but we had some trouble getting a smile out of our little bean on her three month birthday (July 6th...same as my Mimi). Maybe it was because we waited for dad to get home from work and it was late night!!

Happy Three Month Birthday Winter Kate

We had to blog these to show little missy and how much she has grown. The first one was in the hospital when she was three days old. The second one was taken the 13th of July when she was three months old. Look how much those legs are hanging out!!

I read in one of these baby books that wrist rattles can be great entertainment for babies before they can grab things. Lucky for me Rosie Cooper had sent me two of them. I went and grabbed them but I'm not sure Winter is feeling comfortable with her new look :)

Swaddle, Strech, Smile :)

Alright - so this is a collection of some our our favorite things with Winter - a swaddle break, cute hands that are always together, an after nap stretch, and some sweet smiles. Maybe a lot of you baby owners out there see this all the time, but we are new to it and we LOVE it.
