Hi everyone! I'm attempting to blog...again...which as some of you might know means there are about 6 new posts and then you won't see any more for another few months. I'd say I'll get on the ball but I've said it too many times in the past. So hopefully you have a few minutes to scroll through the pics and catch up on what has been going on at Casa de Keough!!!

Yes girls...this is Winter Kate with her VERY FIRST MINI EGG!!! Ahhhh so many more to come!

I left out the yuckier pics...but essentially she did not know what to do with that candy egg. Eventually it was spit into a napkin after much blue drool got on her pajamas. I'll try the Mini Eggs next year :)

A Trip to Lovey & Pops to see Mimi

Winter's First Birthday

Can you believe our little Tootie has turned ONE!! Yep, April 6th, 2010 was the big day. We had a small family party with all of Winter's favorite people. All her grand parents and her great grandma Mimi were in attendance. It was absolutely perfect!!!
Here are all the girls!!! This is FOUR generations!!!

This was during her gift opening. She put on a little show for us. It was hilarious. Of course she was more into the wrapping, throwing the clothes on the floor, and walking around the piano bench to care much about the gifts. But she did stop to give the paparazzi a little wave :)

Below is a post birthday cake photo. She didn't get too out of control eating it because she couldn't seem to stand having icing all over her hands. She might be more like her daddy than I thought :)

Winter makes this face when she is bored...it cracks me up!!! It is accompanied with huffing out her nose in irritation!!! My other favorite things are when she tries so hard to lift something heavy, like the laundry basket into the dishwasher, and breathes like she's in the gym doing clean squat jerks. So funny!! She has also learned that whenever she falls down (which is constantly considering she is in the "cruising" phase) she says "Ow" even if it didn't hurt. It comes out crystal clear.

So that's it for now. I would love to put a thousand more pics of my cutie pie on here but that's enough to give you a taste of what the Keough's have been up to. Love to you all from Colorado!!

Onesie Update!

As I mentioned below Winter is now 10 MONTHS old but I just realized the last onesie update I had was her FIVE MONTH pictures. Ahhhhh!!! So here is a quick catch up from the past few months. I promise a 10 month photo will follow shortly :)

It is getting harder and harder to get her to sit still for a onesie picture. She is ALL over the place. Not walking yet but crawling like a maniac!!!

These are some pics from the Keough/Winter family Christmas. We headed up to the mountains to celebrate!!! You can see that Winter LOVED the attention from her Lovey and Pops!

Uncle Brad came to visit too which made for an extra special Christmas!! We all had such a great time and we got to head out for a date night to the Avs game.

I could have chosen about a million of the pictures from Winter's first sled ride. Her Granny and Grampy sent her this awesome sled for Christmas. We got her all decked out in her pink snow suit. She had the BEST time!!!!

Winter was 10 months old on Saturday. I can hardly believe it. We still need to get our 10 month onesie photo but here are some sweet pics of Winter and Little E.

It Has Been FOREVER!!!

OK OK we know it has been ages since we have updated the blog...three months to be exact. That might not seem like much but when you have a little one there are TONS of changes. So much has happened I don't even know where to start. So here is the plan. I'll just start from today and then as you scroll down you'll see highlights from the last three months. Hopefully I can figure this blog business out and get these posted in the right order :)

So the biggest news is WE ARE MOVING!!! Yep...we found a fabulous house in Castle Rock and so we decided to see if our house would sell. Two and half weeks later we are officially homeless. We move out on the 22nd and into our new house on the 26th. Just in time for Halloween!!!

You can see above the remnants of our first snow. To keep little Winter warm we got her all snuggly in her fleece pajamas. Below we are practicing sitting up. She is starting to get it...with a little help from mom!!

The Bumbo is now a big hit. Winter has been working on her abs so there is no more shlumping over in this thing!

We just had to show off her long eyelashes!! Mimi is here visiting and her favorite feature is Winter's little almond shaped eyes.

Time For Solids!!!

Little Missy has started on the solids. We could tell she was ready because she was wanting everything we were eating. Most of all she wanted a sip of her Lovey's sweet tea from Starbucks!

Lovey & Pops (Shelly & Chuck) were present for her first meal!! She had quite an audience!!

Hmmm...maybe sweet potatoes weren't the best choice :)

The Chubs Factor!

These are just a few snapshots so everyone can get to know Winter a little bit better!!

First of all she is a Passy Monster!!! Clear, pink, orange, whatever the color she doesn't care. Her first skill was to master the art of putting her passy back in her mouth. She may not walk for awhile but she'll be happy with her passy!!!

She is also as flexible as can be. She must have gotten that from her daddy because mommy can barely touch her toes these days. She will have no trouble with the sit and reach for those USAFA grads who might have been concerned. Nothing tastes as good as yummy toes!!!

There is something about being mushed back in a car seat that really brings out the Chubs Factor. Don't you just love the cheeks!!

Last but not least Winter is such a smiley baby!! We just can't get over her bubbly personality. No matter how much sleep you have missed, or how busy your day seems, it is hard to not smile when you see this sweet face all day long!!!

Who are my God Parents???

We took a fabulous quick trip to Minnesota a few weeks ago. It was so wonderful to see Matt & Shelly. Best of all was catching up with our sweet God Son Dane and meeting the one and only "Little E!!!" He is a doll baby!!! Winter loved him as you can see :)

We had so much fun at the Apple Orchard. It lived up to all my expectations!! Shelly was worried since I have a way of getting overly excited for things (Cost Plus World Market :). Apple Jack Orchard truly delivered!!! Before we left Winter got to ask Matt & Shelly to be her God Parents. She was so excited when they said yes!!!!

We've missed a few months so here are FIVE months and FOUR months. Stay tuned for SIX which we will be taking today!!!!

Mommy had to go to work on Saturday so Winter got a whole day with her daddy. I think they both really loved it!! Daddy busted out the camera and did a little paparazzi action while she was in her jungle gym. Love you daddy!!

Every time we put a blanket down or the gym Gretzky has to come be a part of it!

Unfortunately a few of the toys show the wear and tear of Gretzky. It's hard to keep all these shiny new hard plastic toys away from him. He's like a kid in a candy store!

I had to put this one up because of the cute face she is making. It is one of my favorites that she makes...I just love the cheeks and tiny little chin!!

Over Thirty

Yes ladies I married a younger man. What can I say. He is officially now "over thirty!" Remember when someone who was thirty seemed so old. Yes that is now Michael P...or Old Man Keough. The big 3-1 has arrived.

For Mike's birthday Winter stayed home with her Lovey and we took Gretzky on a hike in Boulder. We had such a great time!

We are attempting to start using the Bumbo. Winter has been pretty hunched over in this sucker so far because she is still building up those neck muscles. Two days ago we gave it another shot. At first she didn't know what to think...

Fourth of July

We had a great 4th of July this year. We all went down to my parents in Colorado Springs and my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins were all in town. Below we are celebrating my cousin, Mary Ellen's, 10th birthday. Check out my cousin Graham on the far left. Remember him from my wedding?? Now he is 17...ahhhhh!!!

For Mary Ellen's birthday we got her a Hannah Montana dress up costume. It came with a fancy head set microphone. We made her put on a little concert for us. She was so cute!!

Here she is again...without the wig. I guess you could call this her Miley Cyrus look. Seriously she was cracking us up the whole weekend!!

Three Whole Months!

Look how big I am :) This isn't our best picture but we had some trouble getting a smile out of our little bean on her three month birthday (July 6th...same as my Mimi). Maybe it was because we waited for dad to get home from work and it was late night!!

Happy Three Month Birthday Winter Kate

We had to blog these to show little missy and how much she has grown. The first one was in the hospital when she was three days old. The second one was taken the 13th of July when she was three months old. Look how much those legs are hanging out!!

I read in one of these baby books that wrist rattles can be great entertainment for babies before they can grab things. Lucky for me Rosie Cooper had sent me two of them. I went and grabbed them but I'm not sure Winter is feeling comfortable with her new look :)

Tiny Little Fingers...Big Chubby Cheeks!!

I feel like we could post a million pics like this of our little sweet bean. Since the day she was born it seems like she has been knitting her little hands together. It cracks us up!! She is so busy busy with those hands. We joke that she is worried there might not be anymore milk :) One of my favorites is when I find her busted out of her swaddle blanket with just her hands peeping out the top. I need to make sure I write down these little things. I never want to forget when she gets bigger!!

Here is our cutie pie in a dress to match her nursery! I couldn't pass it up. Check out those cheeks. They seem to just keep growing and growing and I love it!! For now her eyes are big and blue just like her daddy's. I'm not sure how long we wait to see if they change but I sure hope they stay!!

Winter in the Windy City...Winter Keough that is!

Winter has officially taken her first trip on an airplane to The Windy City. I could not have done it without help from Mike. My hats off to all the ladies who brave the airport by their lonesome. On the way there I felt like I was praying for her to not make a peep and doing bottle, passy, bottle, passy. We made it in one piece...thank you Lord!!

We went to Chicago for a friends wedding but most of all to see Mike's parents, sister Lori, and our three nieces Lauren, Erin & Leah. It was the first time for Lori and the girls to meet Winter and we had such a great time!!

We drug Bean to the Shed Aquarium on that Friday. I say drug because it was poring rain, she screamed the entire car ride over, and there were no less than 60,000 people at the aquarium. School is done and the kids were out in sheer force. We still had a great time though. Check out the leaping dolphins below!

This is Winter with her sweet cousin Erin. Erin had the magic mothering touch. Whenever Winter was crying we would pass her to Erin and voila...she would stop. Thanks Erin! You were a HUGE help!! Isn't our niece a heart breaker already :)

Flying the Friendly Skies

Yahoo we survived our first trip on a plane. As you can see I was not seated in an aisle. I can't figure out which seat is better, aisle or window. Aisle means I don't have to climb over my neighbor to change a diaper, window gave me a place to prop her up to sleep. She seems pretty content. It was mom on pins and needles :)

This is me at the Shed Aquarium with Bean. Mike thought this picture truly captured the essence of how I was feeling that day. I have never seen so many people in once place. It was a zoo!! We had a fabulous time and Winter seemed no worse for the wear, as always, knitting those hands together.

Mike's family was so AWESOME to watch Winter while we went to the wedding. I think she had a much better time with her cousins then she would have had with us. What a fun picture Lori took of all the cousins!!

Here is the whole crew minus the camera man Mikey!! He was looking pretty good that day surrounded by all the ladies :) From the left is our niece Erin, Mike's sister next to me, our niece Leah, and our niece Lauren. Amazing how fast all of these girls are growing up. We just wish we lived closer so we could be more involved in their lives. Seems like each time we visit there are so many changes. This time Lauren is officially a certified driver. CRAZY and EXCITING!!! I remember thinking that license was the key to my freedom!!! Of course sweet Lauren in using her new license to help out around the house by running errands. I'm pretty sure that is not what I used mine for...sorry mom!! Lauren you are amazing!

Casa de Keough has finally made it to the world of blogging. It has taken us awhile because although Mike's favorite song to sing is "I love technology..." Lindsay needs to be the blogger and I am not so much a fan of technology!! BUT we now have a fabulous reason to get on the blogging band wagon...yes of course it is our precious baby girl Winter Kate Keough. She has arrived and we want to make sure everyone has up to date pictures. So here goes...

This is our sweet baby girls stats from her two month check up. I guess you can say our sweet BIG baby girl :) She LOVES milk!!!

Here she is doing here favorite chant..."milk, milk, milk!!" We love to see these sweet smiles. Poor little thing had a major freak out when they gave her the 2 month shots. Mom had to leave because she couldn't stand to hear her cry.

Granny Peaches and Grampy came to visit me when I was three weeks old. I gave them my first real smiles when Granny would get up with me in the morning. Look mommy actually showered!!

Little Winter in the hospital. When she was born she was so swollen. I looked over and saw her in the bassinet in the operating room and couldn't believe my baby had been born so big!!
